P.P Stem Flowers Shirt

The super bold purple stripe of this poplin shirt caught my eye at the market , that along with the classic 'boyfriend' style I like so much , size 46. Just perfect !

To me it called to continue with the bright colour for the embroidery and what better than my stem flowers ! I chose a bright apple green for the thicker stem thread and grass green linen for the applique leaves . For the cashmere dots red , orange , yellow and purple . Placed in two rows on the front , one of them under the breast pocket . A third row runs off centre back , from the shoulder yoke down . A couple of buttons were missing so to replace them I chose dark grey mother-of-pearl , to contrast with the pretty white ones the shirt came with.

Personally I love that 'slept in' creased look you get by not ironing the shirt after washing , but drying it on the hanger .
